Jasleen Chhatwal, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist with fellowship training in Integrative Medicine from the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Chhatwal completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, also serving as Chief Resident. She spent her first few years post-residency working in a combined community and academic setting providing both inpatient and outpatient services. At present, she serves as Medical Director of the Mood Disorders Program at Sierra Tucson, a premier residential mental health program. In this setting, she uses both traditional and integrative approaches to treating complex patients. Active in medical student & resident education, Dr. Chhatwal aims to enhance understanding of psychiatric disorders for all medical personnel. She is active in advocating for her patients' & colleagues through the Arizona Psychiatric Society, serving as Vice-President of the society this year. She concurrently is also serving as the ECP representative for Area 7 to the American Psychiatric Association Assembly. Dr. Chhatwal’s clinical interests include complex mood disorders, early intervention, integrative medicine, psychosomatic medicine, and global mental health.
